Our Áster winery has just presented the 2010 vintage of its Áster Crianza. The wine's new vintage, which has been officially rated as excellent, is also boasting a new look (label and capsule) that faithfully represents the strength and elegance of its Ribera del Duero vineyards in Anguix, Burgos.

The wine is made exclusively with Tinta del País grapes from the Fuentecojo and El Caño plots that surround the winery. The launch reinforces the house's commitment to convey —only in exceptional vintages like the 2010— the emotion and personality of this special land, producing a wine that stands out for its fruit, complexity and magnificent structure.

It was aged for 22 months in French oak barrels. It was subsequently bottled to fine tune character and acquire a finesse that will surprise lovers of wines from this region. The 2010 Áster Crianza is the perfect wine to enjoy with roasts, spicy stews and aged cheeses.
