La Rioja Alta S.A., "Best Winery of the Year" according to 'Vivir el Vino' magazine

In its December09-January2010 issue, "Vivir el Vino" magazine has published its list of best wineries, known as the "Magnificent Wineries of 2010'.

And the Best Winery of the Year award fell to La Rioja Alta, S.A., with the magazine highlighting that "its capacity for innovation, quality enhancement and adjustment to the profound changes affecting the wine world, as shown in the evolution of the style of its wines, which remain faithful to classic values, is subject to a more modern interpretation in all its brands".

The news is illustrated with an interesting interview with the Chairman of the La Rioja Alta, S.A. group, Guillermo de Aranzabal, in which he discusses issues such as our wine-making philosophy, the evolution of the world of wine, the principal characteristics of our wines, etc.
